Stephen “Weet” Larcovic
I started playing guitar in 1972, age 26, after my girlfriend bought me a guitar as a birthday present. I knew after a short while that I wanted to pursue the study of guitar more deeply. Thus, I earned a B.S. in Music Ed. in 1980 from Duquesne Univ. Some of the bands I played with were the New Elmonacs, Magic Moments, the Holidays, to mention a few. From ’91 through 2010 I worked as guitarist/music director for the P.O.R.C.C. All Stars and Weet’s All Stars @ S.O.C. I had the pleasure of performing with such legendary vocal groups as the Spaniels, the Harptones, the,
Dubs, the Jive Five and many others. Mix in freelance work in jazz trios and fill in with the Wee Jams. Once again I am working with the Magic Moments, since 2015. I hope to continue my musical journey with OUI 3, a pop/smooth jazz trio.
Bobbi . . .
Singing for past 51 yrs., traveling the tri-state area w/the Ithacas, Risque, the DeVilles! Currently w/Magic Moments & OUI 3!
I began playing guitar at age 10, being the third generation of pickers in my family. By age 15, I had transitioned to bass guitar, while still keeping my guitar studies. My group lineage begins with the Triffids, Johnny Urban & the Nomads, Chuck Corby, B.E. Taylor, the Teardrops, various Army groups for two years which included Vietnam, Sebastian Sass and numerous R&B groups. I have varied between guitar and bass.
I consider this, OUI 3, to be my finest musical endeavor and will continue as long as possible. Bobbi & Weet keep me swimming in the Musical Fountain of Youth, for as long as God is willing!
